Breaking Dawn director rumor

It looks like a new director's been found for the final installment of the Twilight Saga.

Who?

The director of the Oscar-winning Dreamgirls, Bill Condon.

With all the haywire and twists and turns that happen in Breaking Dawn, it looks like this is going to be the hardest project to tackle out of the movies completed so far.

For now, Twilight fans can look forward to Eclipse, which comes out in theaters on June 30.

Miley Cyrus Mentors American Idol Contestants?

American Idol's season 9 is in full swing and has been nothing but full of surprises. Having Ellen Degeneres as the new Idol judge might have been a shocker, but what was perhaps even more shocking was that they got 17-year old Miley Cyrus to mentor the 11 remaining contestants last night.

With the talent possessed by the 11 'Idols' there really wasn't so much Cyrus could say (except for when she commented on Paige's pitch issues), but she did give advice on how they could improve their stage presence. No doubt the 17-year old is a hit success, especially among the younger teenagers. But some question if she was qualified to give advice, seeing as she's only 17.

Nevertheless, the pop star will take on the Idol stage tonight to perform. Also scheduled to appear are Disney stars, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato.

Hilary Duff's an Author???

Yep, that's right. The 22-year-old actress-singer who's claim to fame is largely attributable to her role as Lizzie McGuire in the popular Disney franchise (as well a couple of popular songs), is penning a series of young adult novels. The first novel, Elixer, is about the adventures of a photojournalist named Clea Raymond who travels around the world. It is slated for release this Oct. 12. Duff is also scheduled to publish a nonfiction book in 2012, about children coping with divorce (a topic that has touched her own life).

Jessica Simpson Doesn't Brush Her Teeth

We all like to think that when it comes to flaws, celebrities shouldn't have too many. But singer Jessica Simpson recently admitted (publicly), "I don't brush my teeth," when she was asked how she maintains that million-dollar smile of hers.

"I just use Listerine -- and sometimes I'll use my sweater.

"I do brush every now and again, but my teeth are extremely powerful. Fine, maybe when I'm 60 I'll all, "ow!"

Now, there's no way that's the only thing Jessica does to maintain those pearly whites. But it's really a wonder why anyone would publicly admit to not brushing teeth on a daily basis.
